About Me

As a nurse for 25 years, I have always considered teaching to be one of the most important aspects of my work. I was a diabetes educator for eight years and finally decided to make the transition to teaching at the Tech Center. I have never looked back.

As a teacher, I can show my passion for health care and teach students how to become competent, kind, and caring practitioners in whichever field they choose. I want each student to know they are worthy of a good education, they deserve the chance to work hard to achieve their goals, and to help ready them for a future working in health care.

I have a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing from Wayne State University, a Master's Degree of Science in Nursing from Walden University, and am currently taking classes at Western University to continue my journey as a lifelong learner.

Thank you for joining me for this wonderful introduction to the world of health care!
